Robert Hayman draws heavily on his extensive fine art and theatrical background. Working as his own art director, he is responsible for the photography, styling, makeup and hair for his imagery. With a highly attuned and keen sense for performance and whether working with an actor, comedian, musician or model, he pulls, manipulates and cajoles the essence of his subject to the forefront... thereby illuminating the most interesting facets of their person... often taking his subjects to places and personas within and beyond themselves.

Mr. Hayman has worked internationally in the fashion industry and has been on the makeup artist teams for the Paris collections for such designers as: Jean Paul Gaultier, Valentino, Chanel, Marc Jacobs, Demeulmeester, Yves Saint Laurent, Christian Lacroix and Karl Lagerfield. His work has appeared in many publications including Rolling Stone magazine. He is currently based in Los Angeles where he lives with his husband and co-creator Hector, their white cat Barnaby and their black pug Bustopher Jones.
